I know nothing about how to raise chickens when I started

(9) nine years ago.

All I knew was that I wanted to have a few chickens laying

eggs, so my bride and I could have fresh eggs.

The local feed store Southern States here had (10) ten baby

chicks free with a purchase of a bag of stater chicken feed

( baby food for chickens..)

NINE YEARS (9) years later I/we have (21) twenty-one acres.

2100 sq foot house 2,000 sq ft. garage and out buildings.

(6) Feed lots and a barn.

Two Herds of goats

150+ layer chickens

50 rabbits

ducks and 14 farm cats

NOT BAD if i say so myself...considering I did not know

how to start or what I was doing.

Has everything I set my hand to succeeded……………..NO

Have I had failures and lost some money……………….YES

Wow my friend I got a thought provoking email from a subscriber today. I say this because it made me sit back and look at just what I am doing in this Internet Marketing thing…..and even more so “WHY”

Ok here is my reply to G’s letter:

This was/is some powerful email.

Let me start by saying THANK YOU for your kind words. Even when folks do not like what I say or believe <> I must always share that the truth is the truth and facts are facts.

After leaving trucking both local and cross country I have spent the majority of my life in some type of sales....Still is I guess

A little over a year ago I had just launched http://www.importingforauctions.com

Sales were going good and then I got laid off.

I prayed for a "What do I do now LORD" Well since I never learned how to quit I did not do it. I took what I had, wrote to anyone and everyone who would listed. Some very big REAL Internet Super Stars came to my aide..... I worked 14-16 hours a day 6 days a week and 1/2 Sun for about 8 mos, then went back to work. By then I was not sure my job would not get in the way of the internet.

Wow G last month I had my 64th ... its a blessing

"DON"T" quit your day job. Do both. If you want this bad enough you will find both the avenue to go down and the time to start on your trip.

Now here is my day.

I now get up about 6:30-7:30...most days

grab coffee,,,, very big cup

head to the office....down stairs

fire up the computer for about 2-3 hours.

Go work from 10am -8pm 2 days a week
Go to work 12noon-8:pm 2 days a week

Come home feed water, fix fence, tend to sick animals, etc. TAKE SHOWER, EAT SUPPER WITH MY bride

get ON internet UNTIL ABOUT 12 MIDNIGHT OR UNTIL SHE SAYS bed TIME

OH I ALSO PASTOR A SMALL CHURCH

even find time for a round of golf most weeks

Am I making a living....YES....

Am I making all I need....NO

BUT I WILL

I cannot give you a reason why...that has to come from you.

Heard a saying once... Find a plan that works for you and then work the plan

"My saying is You have to start from where you are at"

Does What I do and others do work, for me it does. May not work for you. But then if you do not try how you will ever know?

I think I am a winner, God thinks I am a winner....Just not crossed the finish line yet
